This is just to say that the new A to Zee Creativity term is just beginning. Classes are (as you know) every Saturday 2.30pm till 4.30pmin R.A.Puram. New children can join now if they would like to. Would like to decide which child will be playing which role in the three plays we are doing: Harry Potter, Room on the Broom, and Cinderella.
We are doing the following this term (mid-Sep - mid Dec 2011):
Songs with Sharanya from the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis, and other sixties numbers.
Dancing with Manikandan & Prarthana: The jive and the twist!
Photography - new thing this term! with Shaan
Art & Craft - tie-dye with Tania
Poetry: Tehzeeb will continue to teach them a selection of fine poems
Theatre: I have some of my adult actor friends from the Madras Players and other groups joining the children for some of the plays we will be performing at our end-of-year production. This will inspire the children.

Informal sing-song on Sun 13 Nov at ours – Sixties songs / hippy kids!
Christmas show at an outside venue: Sunday 11th December at 10.30am.
For this coming Saturday please can you send a basic digital camera labelled with your child's name - with children aged 7 and above? If you have a 6-year-old and feel they are likely to be ok handling it then do feel free to send your 6-year-old with the camera.No child below 6 will join the photography session.
The rest will listen to the talk, and then will do art or singing.
