Hello everyone - we are all set for another term of speech, drama, communication, poetry, dance, art, woodwork, and more!

Batches:  

Zeebees (5-7 years) Sat 10.30am-12.30pm  (Drama, Dance, Art/Craft, Poetry, Singing)

Communication Skills (ages 7+): Sat 12.00-1.30pm  (Public-speaking, Plays, Poems, Creative Writing)

Originals  (ages 8-12) Sat 1.45-4pm (Woodwork, Drama, Dance, Art/Craft, Poetry, Singing)

Teens (13-17 years)  Sat 2.30-4.30pm (Debate and Drama) 

Location: Bamboola (same compound as Sankara Nethralaya)  73 Venkatakrishna Rd, R.A.Puram, Chennai - 28.

Approximately 12 sessions in a term. All batches work towards the Oct/Nov Trinity College London exams. Very limited numbers, so once you have paid for a term there will be no refunds or postponements to future terms. 

There are three terms in a year: Jan-March ; June-Aug ; Sep-Nov/Dec.

End-term show - Sunday morning - April 6th 2014

Hello,

Our term is drawing to a close. 

We have regular class this Saturday April 5th, and the end-term show on Sunday the 6th at Freemasons Hall, Egmore, opposite Presidency Club.

The Hall seats 100, so parents can arrive in time for their batch.

Former students arriving to collect their Trinity certificates can arrive by 10.30am and stay till the end of the show.

Zeebees at Freemasons: 9.45am-10.30am

Communication Skills + Originals: 10.45 - 11.45am

Teens: 12-1pm (pls arrive by 11am for your debate topic)

Class timings for June below the signature.

We are only taking 15-18 children in each batch for next term, as this term was way too busy. Communication Skills class will be even less - 12 children.

Final push!

Hi there,

Final week - please make an effort to send them...as many of you know we only do these daily rehearsals in December. The rest of the year is a relaxed once a week session.  

There are two school shows this week:

Tuesday 10th December - 8am: Noddy show at Sishya (Auditorium)

Friday 13th December - 8am: As You Like It play reading at Sishya (Auditorium? 10th standard classrooms? - tbc)

To make life simple for all,  we have fixed on one timing for the week.

Mon, Tue, Wed:

3-4.30pm: Zeebees

4.45 - 6.30pm: Harry Potter + Poems / choir practice

6-9pm: As You Like It

Thursday:

Full tech rehearsal of the show at TN Rajaratnam Auditorium, Adyar Bridge. Parent/maid requested to stay and take the child safely home when asked to.
4.00pm: Zeebees on stage
4.30pm: Harry Potter children on stage
5.30pm: As You Like It cast on stage

7-9pm: As You Like It practice back at Varuna 

Friday 13th December: 

8am: As You Like It - whole play at Sishya

3.00pm: Harry Potter children to arrive at TN Rajaratnam Auditorium (one proper runthrough on stage before getting dressed)
4.00pm: Noddy children to arrive ((one proper runthrough on stage before getting dressed)
5.00pm: Teens to take charge of Noddy children
              HP children to their duties

5.30pm: Noddy show followed by poems and Harry Potter 
7pm: Intermission
7.15pm: 'As You Like It' play followed by Choir - Simon & Garfunkel songs and Carols...
8.30pm - Close

Saturday 14th December - 24 December

 Carol singing etc. at Guild of Service - exact dates and times tbc...

Communication Classes - will schedule a few in the mornings to make up for the few we missed.
